  • You meet with Dr Jarman virtually for all visits, usually once a month. These are done through the patient portal/phone app called Healthie.

    Visits are paid for virtually within the patient portal after your visits.

  • Patients paying directly allows Mint to focus on patients’ care rather than Insurance requirements and paperwork.
    Mint will provide you with a SuperBill after each visit showing what service has been rendered, that you can submit to your Insurance to request reimbursement

  • Yes, as a licensed Physician Dr Jarman is able to prescribe medications that are medically appropriate.
    Dr Jarman’s main focus in your visits will be to assess how to guide your lifestyle through small, consistent change and close follow-up, to make lasting impacts on your health.

  • The patient portal and phone app for Healthie gives patients several opportunities you don’t get at other doctors’ offices. You can:
    - sync your Apple Health/Google Fit/ FitBit data to allow both of us to track your progress across any metrics you choose to share.
    - Create custom goals with Dr Jarman in the app that remind you on your preferred schedule, showing Dr Jarman completed and pending goals
    - message Dr Jarman directly between visits (if you have decided to schedule visits every month) for questions, advice, or encouragement

    Dr Jarman is working on changing his lifestyle every day that you are changing yours, and we all get to learn from each other’s experiences

  • We allow cancellations for up to 24 hours prior to a visit. Multiple cancellations within the 24 hour period may result in refusal to be seen in the future. We do not currently have a no-show fee for patients who do not arrive for their appointments.

  • Dr Jarman does not prescribe controlled substances. This includes medications like:

    • Stimulants (Adderall, Vyvanse)

    • Opioids (Morphine, Norco, Methadone)

    • Benzodiazepenes (Valium, Klonopin)

    • Sleep Aides (Lunesta, Ambien)

    • Certain nerve pain medications (Gabapentin, Lyrica)

      and others not listed

  • Mint is run entirely through Healthie’s patient portal and interface.

    Healthie is HIPAA compliant in regards to their levels of security and privacy.

    This includes their payment processor which stores details such as credit card numbers and other financial data.
